* For this survey, we assume a simple 1-for-1 exchange of incandescents for compact flourescents. We understand that it may not always be 1-for-1, and we also understand how people might trade in for different wattages. We did! We replaced several 60 watt incandescents in lamps with 100 watt compact flourescents. We enjoyed a net decrease in energy consumption and a brighter room!
